Want to get insight into the future of architecture?
At the National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) Digital Fabrication researchers in architecture, engineering, materials science, computer science, and robotics collaborate to develop ground-breaking innovations in architecture and construction.
NEST (Next Evolution in Sustainable Building Technologies) is the world’s first modular research and innovation building aimed at accelerating the innovation process in the construction sector. It is operated by Empa and Eawag on their campus in Dübendorf.
You are cordially invited to the NCCR Digital Fabrication & NEST Equality Networking Event
This event at the NEST building is an opportunity for information, exchange and networking between leading women from industry, academia with a professional and personal interest in the future of architecture, and the role technology will have.
The evening will feature brief introductions followed by research presentations of the DFAB HOUSE and other NEST modules. Visitors will be able to visit all of the current NEST modules, and the evening will conclude with a networking apero for all participants.

Time: 17.30 until 21.00, followed by an apero
Location: NEST, Empa Campus, Überlandstrasse 129, 8600 Dübendorf
Travel with public transportation: From Zurich main station with the suburban railway to Stettbach (S3, S9, S12), then with bus Nr. 760 to Empa.
Travel by car: Parking spaces are available on the campus of Empa in Dübendorf. However, if possible please use public transportation.
