1st Swiss Symposium on Materials Chemistry 2023

The 1^st Swiss Symposium on Materials Chemistry 2023 is a major event organized by the SCS Materials Chemistry (MatChem) Network with the aim of connecting scientists across all materials chemistry related fields in Switzerland, including solid-state-chemistry, materials synthesis, and advanced characterization. A general interest lies in the preparation or understanding of materials with unusual or useful properties, in theory and experiment, and from fundamental to applied research. The program includes a keynote lecture, invited lectures, contributed lectures by PhD students and postdocs, as well as a poster session. There will be ample networking opportunities during lunch, coffee breaks, and the concluding aperitif.
