Poland - the main beneficiary of the Swiss contribution to support the EU's 10 new member states in Eastern Europe - is investing in Joint Research Projects with Switzerland. The call for research projects is planned for March 1, 2010. Research areas eligible for funding are Nanotechnology, Energy, Environment, Health and ICT.
In order to meet interested partners from Polish research institutions and to sketch out proposals, Empa and the Warsaw University of Technology are, in cooperation with the other ETH Domain institutions, organizing "Swiss-Polish Science and Technology Days" in Warsaw on January 14/15, 2010.
The goal is to establish an atmosphere as lively and productive as possible where participants can meet and discuss ideas with potential partners.
